Dental Hygienist

About the Role:

Central Park Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, possess excellent communication skills, and work well within a collaborative dental team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing for patients.
• Conduct oral health assessments and screen patients for oral diseases.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and preventive education.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately.
• Assist the dentist with examinations and other procedures as necessary.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure all dental instruments and work areas are sanitized and prepared for use.

Qualifications:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license for the state of Alabama (or eligibility to obtain).
• CPR certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Experience with digital dental recordkeeping is a plus.
